Kalpa
Kalpa is the famous tourist place of Kinnaur district. It is situated in the center of Kinnaur district. Chini is the oldest name of Kalpa. Kalpa situated at the altitude of 2759 meters from sea level. It is 14kms from district headquarter from Recong Peo. The Narayan Nagni temple is the famous temple of Kalpa. This temple is very beautiful. This temple located at the center of Kalpa. This temple is covered by many big mountains. There are many beautiful scenes in Kalpa like Mountain View and snowy peaks.

Reckong Peo

Recong Peo is situated at an altitude of 2670 meters from sea level. It is located at the distance of 235kms from Shimla. Reckong Peo, also simply known as Peo by the local inhabitants, is the capital of Kinnaur district, one of the twelve administrative districts of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Earlier Kalpa was the headquarters later changed to Reckong Peo, named after group of people who used to own this place in ancient times

Chhitkul

Chitkul is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The Indian road ends here. During winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow and the inhabitants move to lower regions of Himachal. It is situated in Baspa valley.
